Step 5

Reports and Learning Culture

Visibility and encouragement that turn useful work into shared team knowledge.

Reports and notifications flow for employees and managers
Different audiences need different levels of visibility.

Reports that serve a purpose

Daily Team Report

Who is working on what, hours currently recorded, highlights, challenges and ticket references. No daily star competition.

Weekly Personal Report

Task summary, hours, categories, highlights, stars and a short motivational message.

Weekly Manager Report

All team members, contribution summaries, review status, learning opportunities and recurring challenges.

Weekly Leaderboard

A visible recognition summary, used with context rather than as a measure of personal worth.

Learning-session workflow

Highlight→Manager identifies reusable value→Short knowledge-sharing session→Documentation or runbook→Reuse / automation

A useful automation, workaround or incident resolution can be demonstrated in a short session, then captured in documentation and reused. Recognition becomes a trigger for learning, not simply a point total.

Encouragement without surveillance

Reminder wording matters. The system sees recorded information, not the full reality of someone’s day. Keep low-activity messages private and supportive; share appreciation more widely when appropriate.
